The California Airgun Shooters Association (CASA) hosted an incredible weekend event in Santa Clarita, CA. Nestled in a picturesque valley within the national forest, the setting was both breathtaking and reminiscent of a mini Battle Mountain, offering the perfect backdrop for an exciting competition.
A Challenging Course
Ron Jobbes and his team designed a course that truly tested the skills and focus of every participant. Under the direction of John Knapp, the event ran seamlessly, providing a memorable experience for all involved.
Personal Experience
The first day of the competition was a success for me, and I was thrilled to find myself on the leaderboard. However, the pressure of maintaining that position on the second day proved to be a challenge. It was a valuable lesson in staying focused under pressure, and I’m eager to apply what I’ve learned in future events.
